Prescriptions

If your pet requires long-term medication it is our practice policy that your pet should be seen by a veterinary surgeon every three months for examination and a review of the medications required. These consultations are an opportunity for you to discuss your pet’s conditions and medications with a vet and raise any concerns. They also enable early detection and correction of any problems with your pet’s condition. Review consultations are charged at a reduced price.

If you require repeat prescriptions please contact us to order them and allow at least 48 hours’ notice for collection. This enables us to order in your pet’s medications and ensure each order has been authorised by a veterinary surgeon. Please allow additional time at weekends and bank holidays. In some instances, items may require a special order and may take longer.

Written prescriptions are available and are subject to a written prescription fee. Prescriptions are issued based on the same three-monthly review policy, and can only be issued by a veterinary surgeon.

Written prescriptions are available and subject to a written prescription fee. Prescriptions can only be issued after a clinical assessment has been undertaken. Please discuss this with your vet during your consultation or contact a member of our staff.
